My two best friends and I go on an annual Girls' Trip. On one of our annual adventures, we went to Chicago, where we discovered food tours, and it was love at first bite! Now we schedule our annual trips around food tours in the city we are planning to visit. That gave me the idea to start a food tour in Oskaloosa. Sure, Oskaloosa is smaller than most (any?) other city with food tours, but we have it all--good food, interesting history, beautiful architecture, and a vibrant town--so why not?

Cheryl was born in Columbus, Ohio, moved to Dallas, Texas at the age of 10, moved to Morristown, New Jersey at the age of 14 and then found her true home–Oskaloosa–at age 18. Cheryl had many careers over her life–restaurants, factory work, direct sales, teacher, and consultant. She retired in 2019 (best job ever!) and is enjoying this new food tour venture.
Special thanks to Matt Kargol for creating the logo, and a big shout-outs to my two BFFs (Shea Cook and Dana Hols) who helped and laughed with me!
