Pleasantly Surprised!

I planned an overnight to Oskaloosa, and as I always do...checked TripAdvisor for "things to do." I found Cheryl's company/listing, and signed up for the mini-tour. What a delight! Cheryl is just starting her business, but has a great background in food, tours, and her community. We had 4 food and beverage stops...all were a quick walking distance from each other...and of course, locally owned businesses. The food was tasty, the city highlights and establishment insights were informative, and Cheryl's demeanor was fun and personable. I wish her great success in her business! Everyone I met were wonderful "ambassadors" of Oskaloosa!

Oskaloosa Food Tour Review

This is a very enjoyable tour. I went on Cheryl's food tour around Oskaloosa as part of a news reporting assignment for the Oskaloosa Herald newspaper. The food samples at each tour stop were very tasty, and the historical information Cheryl shared was fascinating. I found the pace of the tour to be very relaxing, and the food vendor hosts were very friendly. I would recommend this tour to anyone, whether they are a visitor or a longtime resident of Oskaloosa. :)

Fun Way To Spend A Few Hours

I have been on nearly a dozen food tours in large cities across the Midwest, which is why I thought the idea of one in small-town Oskaloosa was crazy. It isn't! The town has a rich history and what better way to experience it than on a food tour where you get to sample you way through local bites while learning about the town's history and architecture. If you're looking for a fun way to spend a few hours you should book yourself a spot!

Haunted Food Tour

Very enjoyable experience! I attended the mini haunted food tour. As a resident, it was interesting to hear of the haunted tales. The food was of course delicious at each stop! And Cheryl was a wonderful guide! Can’t wait to go on the full tour!
